About this place
If you’d like gyoza with your miso ramen, the ramen-and-gyoza set is one option. Sapporoya’s set lets you choose ramen with miso, soy sauce or salt broth, and comes with a mini serving of either 5 or 3 gyoza. One diner described the miso ramen as having a creamy white miso broth, tender medium-thin noodles and chashu pork that came apart easily. Another found the broth rich, with the sweetness and depth of miso, but not especially salty.
Others have found the miso ramen lighter in flavour, so impressions vary. For a more substantial lunch, you could choose a set with gyoza; if you’d rather focus on the noodles, ramen is also available on its own.
Gyoza can be ordered on its own as well as in a set, and the menu includes both grilled and boiled versions. One diner noted that the grilled gyoza had crisp surfaces. If you’re in the mood for something different, tsukesoba—dipping noodles—is available plain or with miso, wakame seaweed, menma bamboo shoots, nameko mushrooms or chashu pork.
